The CEO of the National Petrochemical Company stated: “We must utilize all available capacities in the country to develop markets and diversify export markets to expand exports.”
According to Mehr News Agency, quoting the National Petrochemical Company, Hassan Abbaszadeh today (Tuesday, January 8) during the introduction ceremony of the company’s Planning and Development Manager and Head of International Affairs, emphasized the need for cooperation between these two departments to expand energy diplomacy and promote exports. He said: “Continuous convergence and interaction to identify new markets can facilitate the process of international cooperation.”
He noted that the National Petrochemical Company is ready to provide any support and assistance to petrochemical holdings and companies. He added: “We must create the groundwork for diversifying the industry’s customer portfolio so that, alongside meeting domestic needs, we can achieve favorable performance in exports with the realization of new projects.”
The CEO emphasized the importance of collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Iranian embassies in other countries, and the Trade Promotion Organization to increase awareness of Iran’s petrochemical industry capabilities and capacities among other nations.
Abbaszadeh continued: “Fortunately, a very favorable atmosphere of cooperation and interaction with petrochemical holdings has been established, and significant and strategic decisions have been made for the industry in a coordinated manner.”
He added: “There were disputes regarding utilities, which were raised in the government’s Economic Commission meeting, attended by economic ministers. Ultimately, with the opinion of the Minister of Petroleum, it was decided that the National Petrochemical Company would act as the government’s representative. On the same day, during a meeting with the CEOs of the holdings, the National Petrochemical Company’s arbitration was accepted.”
The CEO of the National Petrochemical Company stated: “In the meeting with the CEOs of the holdings, the issues discussed in the government’s Economic Commission were presented, and the managers emphasized the continuation of efforts by the National Petrochemical Company as the government’s representative to resolve the industry’s challenges and issues.”
Abbaszadeh concluded: “All industry stakeholders must work together in unity to advance the development of the petrochemical industry, and the National Petrochemical Company will provide the necessary support.
